"Festive Wreath" 2023 collection

This year, Ladurée pays tribute to an ancient tradition: the celebration of the winter solstice, when houses were decorated with green foliage woven into a wheel, symbolizing renewal. Inspired by this practice, the Ladurée wreath is adorned with a fir tree adorned with precious macaroon jewels, set against a background of white glitter as sparkling as frost.This winter, Ladurée's must-have macaron boxes are decked out in their finest attire to make way for a collection that will sparkle the eyes and delight the taste buds. Sparkling white sequins, a flamboyant green fir wreath, a delicate ribbon in the style of Louis XVI mirrors with a love knot, and of course the macarons, revisited here in tassels and precious ornaments in the pure spirit of 18th-century painters and pearl ornaments.

For this collection, the precise gesture of Ladurée's pastry chefs meets the delicate brushwork of Amandine Delaunay, an inspired young painter. Each element of the macaroon boxes has been worked with precision to scale, capturing the essence of the art that characterizes jewelry-making, and which echoes the art of haute pâtisserie to which Ladurée has been so attached for 160 years.
